Meet the Owner,
Radhika Bhatt Trivedi, PT, DPT
Radhika was born and raised in Dallas, TX and takes pride in her native Texan roots! She grew up and went to school in Dallas, and knew after college that she wanted to pursue a career in rehabilitation healthcare.
As a teenager, Radhika had witnessed her own mother go through an episode of PT after knee surgery. This experience, combined with the PT’s lasting impression on her mother, helped Radhika gain clarity on what her purpose was both professionally and personally. Radhika’s interest in how the human body functions and the process of rehabilitation, coupled with her desire to partake in the human connection, led Radhika to pursue a career as a physical therapist.
Experience
Fast forward 10 years from that decision, Radhika had graduated with her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.
She then began her career at a local inpatient hospital in Fort Worth, Texas while also continuing her academic journey in pursuit of her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
Approximately two years later, Radhika earned her Doctorate degree and continued to gain invaluable experience in various settings such as inpatient and outpatient care, post-op orthopedic rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and home health care.
The pediatric world, though, was and continues to be Radhika’s passion!
Over half of Radhika’s career has been dedicated to providing physical therapy services to children.
Impower’s Roots
As Radhika entered motherhood, she realized there was a lack of available services for new mothers and their unique needs. Radhika had experienced the challenges of learning to care for her newborn baby, while still trying to care for her own well-being. Radhika realized that navigating this journey was not going to be easy; finding the right support was vital not only to survive but to thrive in her new role as a mother.
Throughout her most recent experience in a pediatric setting, she couldn’t help but notice the constant needs of mothers going unmet: the worry, the concerns, the questions left unanswered.
More recently, after having her second child, Radhika made the decision to fill that ‘need’ by creating her own private practice to serve babies and children, as well as their mothers.
